Facilitator: Eri Guajardo Johnson | @BirthBruja

*Closed Captions Available

*Open to folks of all identities who identify as survivors of sexual violence

15 spots available | Register ASAP to reserve your spot!

DESCRIPTION

Moving from surviving to thriving is not easy. For many survivors of sexual violence, the struggle contributes to us feeling discouraged, isolated & alone.

Join us for a 2hr online gathering devoted to building & strengthening our self care and resilience strategies through journaling. Connecting with community can provide powerful inspiration, encouragement & momentum to our healing journey!

Previous writing experience is not required.

*Survivors will be invited to participate in the group discussion and folks are asked to NOT disclose the details surrounding their experiences of trauma.

TO RECEIVE THE ZOOM LINK

Upon registering, you will be sent an email with the confirmation pdf. On the 2nd page of that document, you will find the Zoom link for the day of our gathering. Participants will also receive two reminder emails the morning of the event.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Eri Guajardo Johnson (she/they), is a queer, bi-racial birthworker, community educator, birth consultant for trauma survivors, and founder Birth Bruja- an online educational platform devoted to intersectional, liberational & decolonial approaches to birthwork, healing and life.

Drawing upon her breadth of experience supporting survivors of sexual assault, studying indigenous Mexican and Indian healing modalities, and obtaining their masters in Women, Gender, Spirituality & Social Justice from the California Institute of Integral Studies- she approaches healing & justice work as a mechanism for individual and collective liberation.

The Birth Bruja platform @BirthBruja is a manifestation of Eri’s passion for intersectional, liberational & decolonial approaches to birthwork, healing & life. There, they host a variety of facilitators who offer monthly mentorship circles, continuing education workshops, reclaiming ancestral wisdom courses, and more. Visit www.BirthBruja.com.
